Lowry Homes was established in Manchester in 1997 and is part of Jackson Holdings, a major UK development group with an annual turnover in excess of £70 million.
The company has over 50 years cumulative experience in house building, having completed very diverse developments including town houses, detached houses, apartments, refurbishments, conversions, student accommodation, and accommodation for the elderly.

| Maine Place accepted as Demonstration Project by Constructing Excellence

As recognition of the Partnership work shown between Lowry Homes, Manchester City Council, MANCAT, Manchester Solutions and Job Centre Plus, the Maine Place has been accepted as a Demonstration Project by Constructing Excellence - www.constructingexcellence.org.uk.
This recognises the best practice and innovation shown in developing and implementing a strategy for the employment and training of people from priority areas associated with the scheme. This enables Lowry Homes, through the Constructing Excellence network, to act as an example to the rest of the industry in how we engage with the workforce in and around the Maine Place scheme.
Demonstration Project status is national recognition of our efforts and that of our partnership group to date. We will now be required to submit regular updates to Constructing Excellence for them to build up a long term case study on Employment and Training within the Maine Place and look forward to continuing our reputation as a Developer that is genuinely passionate about sustaining the communities within which we work.
